Friends, if your YouTube content becomes popular, it might start getting “borrowed” without permission — or simply stolen. What can you do? YouTube itself can help!
In YouTube Studio, there’s a section called Copyright — here’s a screenshot from one of my channels. This section shows your videos that have been reuploaded on other channels, even if the match percentage is less than 100% (for example, if someone changed the background music or color tone using filters).
So — you can send each of them a copyright claim, a takedown request, or a demand to credit you as the original creator. And if that doesn’t work — you can ask YouTube to simply remove the stolen content.
Use this feature to your advantage!
