In Thailand, the evening low tides can be absolutely stunning. Take a look — this whole area is usually covered by the sea, at least halfway. But right now, the tide is out, and people are walking far out, into the space that’s normally underwater. Look how many of them there are! Oh, there goes a bouncing ball. What a beautiful place this is! Thailand is something else!
By the way, it’s not uncommon to see a fishing boat left behind on the sandbank during low tide. It calmly waits for its moment — for the tide to return, for the sea to come back and carry it away.
